This is Cali.
Cali is my boss's puppy.
6 year old puppy, that is.
Like Murphy, she has a deceptively young appearance, and - also like Murphy - she does not hesitate to reap the rewards.
"Oh! What an adorable little puppy," customers gush.
She spent 5 days with us this last week while her family went to a wedding.
Murphy enjoys having canine visitors. He would prefer that they bring their humans with them (for maximum petting potential, of course) but any guest is a good guest in the Murphster's eyes. As long as everyone remembers that it is Murphy's house. And as long as none of the other guests are allowed to sleep on the bed.
Cali has a 1.5 year old human sibling at home, so while at Camp Murphy she thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of getting all of the DOG toys out of the box and scattering them conveniently around the house without any contamination from those pesky human toys.
Cali: "Uh, does she always sit around by herself on a Friday night taking pictures of you?"
Murphy: "Yeah... pretty much. Just a few more then we'll get our cookies."

I think Cali enjoyed her visit. Other than that one very minor barely noticeable confrontation with the neighbor's cat, it went off without a hitch!

Cali is so cute, and does still look like a puppy. That is awesome that Murphy shares his home, toys & humans so nicely :)
